THURS. NOV. 19 - Tractor Safety Workshop at the Albion & Bolton Community Centre, 150 Queen Street South, Bolton at 3 pm - 4:30 pm. Equipment side rollovers, rear tip overs and connection failures lead to serious injury and death, and in most cases, these tragic events are preventable. Come join the Caledon OPP and other experts as the causes and mechanics of machinery injury are discussed. Keynote speaker is Helmut Spieser, an engineer with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA). Presented by the Ontario Provincial Police (Caledon detachment) in cooperation with the Albion & Bolton Agricultural Society, OMAFRA, the Office of the Chief Coroner of Ontario and Green Tractor. Rural property homeowners and tractor operators in the agriculture, landscape and construction industries are all encouraged to attend.
